- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Dont take your Exotic pet here!!! We took my daughter's beloved African Pygmy Hedgehog here after he sustained what we now know is a muscle injury to his leg. They told us they will need to do Xrays on him so they kept him in for a while. They called us back in and told us that he has Bone Cancer and it was spreading to his organs and was in excruciating pain and recommended that he be put down instantly. We were all in tears and in utter shock! We did not take their recommendation as we felt it wasn't Cancer and was just a muscle strain. He is still alive and well today and perfectly fine and we are so happy we didn't listen to them. Horrible diagnosis, dont take your Exotic pet here, if you do get a second opinion first!by Susan BownMarch 29, 2017
